Kitchen Porter

Exceptionally high standard of work required for this very busy country Inn, keen attention to detail is a must.

This is a very diverse position that is integral to the running of the business.

You will be working as part of the kitchen team.

Hours 30-40 5 days per week.

Dedication to be the best you can be is a fundamental requirement of this position.

-Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.

-Collect and wash up pots and pans.

-Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.

-Unload food and equipment deliveries.

-Keep the storeroom organised.

-Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.

Agricultural Engineer Vacancy

Elveden Farms Ltd are looking for a qualified Agricultural Engineers to join our workshop. You should have experience with the most modern, sophisticated agricultural machinery. This is a varied position working and looking after all aspects of our Agricultural Machinery associated with the production of root vegetables and combinable crops.

The successful candidate will preferably have the relevant technical experience with agricultural machinery and be qualified to level three in Land Based Engineering or equivalent. Applicants must be able to service and repair equipment both on the farm and in the workshop.

Essential Skills & Knowledge  

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to deliver high quality standards of workmanship
  • Meticulous and hard working
  • A sound knowledge of agricultural machinery used in production of root vegetables and combinable crops.
  • Good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Good level of welding skill.
  • The ability to work as a team or individually.
  • Being self-motivated, having good communication skills and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Flexibility with working hours during busy seasons and weekends.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Salary is dependent on experience.
