The Tyndalls all live at Edge Manor, and that is where you are tonight. Edge Manor was built 400 years ago this year, and the Tyndalls have put on a firework display to celebrate. People have come from miles around to see it. They are not allowed up to the Manor, so they congregate in the meadow below. After the fireworks have finished, the bonfire is lit and Sir Harold and Lady Evelyn lay on refreshments. Invited guests of the Tyndall family (that’s you) watch the fireworks from the top terrace and also partake of refreshments. The fireworks have finished and you are now back in the house preparing to go into dinner.
The event will start with a drinks reception at 7:30pm, followed by dinner at 8:00pm. The cast will join you at the reception, and the action will unfold around you as the event goes on. There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions.
You can be involved as little, or as much, as you want. Please do feel free to dress up. Bring a notepad and a pen to write down anything you think is important.
Do ask questions as the people you meet may be hiding nasty secrets, or have something interesting to tell you. Don’t be nervous about asking awkward questions. In fact, sometimes the more awkward the question, the better!
If you wear spectacles, even if only for reading, bring them with you as you WILL need them! Remember, if you arrive after 7:30pm, the event will have started and you may have missed something important.
